Dr Jo Viney, Ph.D. is co-founder and CEO of Seismic Therapeutic, the machine learning immunology company developing medicines for autoimmune disease. A seasoned biotech executive and entrepreneurial scientist, she has co-founded 3 biotech startup companies in MA - the first of which, Pandion Therapeutics, was acquired by Merck in 2021 for $1.85B. Prior to Pandion she held research leadership positions and contributed to the drug discovery pipelines at Biogen and Amgen. Jo is a big advocate for workplace inclusiveness and regularly volunteers her time with a number of organizations focused on increasing diversity in STEM careers.

Ann Darda is an accomplished people and organizational leader with more than 25 years of experience in global corporate and consulting HR roles for life science companies at all stages of development. She has successfully helped biotech companies scale and deliver value through rapid growth and well managed transitions. Prior to joining Danforth, Ann served as Head of Human Resources for Omega Therapeutics, where she supported rapid expansion and readiness for the company’s IPO. She previously held senior leadership roles for Semma Theraputics, now part of Vertex Cell and Gene Therapies; Novartis, Biogen and Pfizer.
