Matteo Aldeghi is the Senior Director of Machine Learning Research at Bayer, where he leads the development and application of novel machine learning solutions for pharmaceutical R&D. Before joining Bayer in 2023, he held research roles at Google Research as a Senior Research Scientist, MIT as a Research Scientist, the Vector Institute for AI as a Vector Postdoctoral Fellow, and the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry as a Humboldt Research Fellow.

Matteo obtained his PhD in Computational Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and has a background in computational chemistry and machine learning. He is currently based in Boston.

Gurpreet Singh is the Senior Director of Applied Machine Learning at Bayer, where he leads a team of data scientists and engineers in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML solutions to enhance the efficiency and quality of the drug discovery pipeline. With expertise in computer vision, natural language processing, data analysis, and statistical modeling, he focuses on creating innovative and scalable applications that drive transformation in the pharmaceutical industry and advance human health.

Gurpreet earned his doctorate from the National University of Singapore and has since built a distinguished career in applied machine learning. He has a strong track record of delivering high-impact projects, publications, and patents in AI/ML for drug discovery and is skilled in talent management, effective communication, and analytical thinking.

These sessions are not intended for service providers, consultants, IT providers, etc. They are designed for drug developers and healthcare researchers seeking collaboration with big pharma and out-licensing opportunities later in their journey.
Session recordings are NOT distributed afterward. Live attendance is necessary to get the most out of the expert sessions and network with the Bayer Pharma team.
