Morten heads up Astellas Gene Therapy Research & Technical Operations based in South San Francisco. In this role reporting to the CSO of Astellas, Morten leads Astellas Gene Therapy & Technical Operations (RTO). In addition to Research and Technical Operations functions in California and Japan, his team also oversees construction and operation of thew new Astellas Research facility in South San Francisco along with IS, Compliance and other processes. Before that he headed up the Research function at Astellas Gene Therapies responsible for delivering ~ two clinical candidates per year.
