We’re excited to host an information session at LabCentral’s 700 Main Street Lobby on the National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) translational funding opportunities!

Recently reauthorized through FY2031, the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs provide funding opportunities and commercialization resources that early-stage biotech researchers can use to fuel their project development.  

NCI SBIR Director Michael Weingarten and Program Director William Bozza will provide a detailed overview on the program as well as highlights from reauthorization, including the new Strategic Breakthrough Award funding mechanism that provides larger, milestone-driven awards focused on technology implementation.
