Startups and early-stage companies aligned with our research strategy will showcase their work across Disease Modifying Therapies, Cell Therapies, Early Detection, and Improving Lives — including immune modulation, beta cell protection and regeneration, advanced cell therapy solutions, next-generation screening and risk assessment tools, and innovations in glucose control, closed-loop devices, and long-term complication therapies. Breakthrough T1D's overall goal is to deliver therapies that prevent the onset of Type 1 Diabetes, restore pre-diabetes physiology in people with established Type 1 Diabetes, and improve everyday life for those living with the condition, and this event highlights the advancements bringing us closer to that vision.
